The MADness of Climate Change

During the Cold War, international relations were structured by the concept of Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD); measures were taken so that irresponsible action by a few did not lead to the destruction of all. As the impact of climate changes worsens, will we be entering a Warming War in which we adopt a new concept of MAD, taking measures to ensure that the irresponsible failures to act of the few will not lead to the assured destruction of all?
